Momiform of the Day

Basketball Momiform today was comfy sweater knit joggers and a soft tee, both from recent Old Navy sales. I “dressed it up” a little and went with wedge sneakers. I planned to wear a denim jacket too, but it was so cold I needed my winter coat.

One of our games after church each week is asking the three year old what the Bible story was and trying to interpret what story they had! 😂

Yesterday it was nearly 70°. Today we have freezing rain. A vest is the perfect transition into {demand for?!} spring. 😂😊

Today is the day to say all the {cheesy?} sentimental words.😊 I’ll spare you, but know that I mean them all when it comes to this guy! 😍 
We’re not perfect, but we’re perfect for each other. I love him, this life we’re living, and these three boys we’ve brought into it, with all my heart.

Spring 60's vs Fall 60's

It’s always funny how when the forecast in the fall is 60° we’re all... “Bring on the boots, socks and sweaters!”. But a 60° day in February means we’re hoping to shed that sweater by afternoon and wearing shoes that don’t require socks! 
Side note: I almost cropped the toddler out of the second photo, but: 😂😂😂
Second side note: I will continue to use mirrors in stores (hello, HobLob) until I commit to purchasing a selfie mirror for my home! 😂

Frugal = DIY

I’m very frugal (i.e. cheap! 😊), partly out of necessity in order to remain a stay at home Mom. I do a lot of DIY, including: waxing, painting my own nails, and haircuts and color. I am a licensed barber, but no education trains you to DIY. Only a lot of trial and error. Years of error!! 😂😂😂

This #ootd is from yesterday. I scored this white button down at Marshall’s for $4 on Saturday. Grabbed the jeans a couple weeks ago at Kohl’s for $3.26. Clearance Shopping is my jam.😊 The boots are Amazon nearly 4 years ago. My cardigan is on sale for $22-ish on my AsherKate Boutique site. (Earrings are AK too.)

Top Knot

I honestly believe I started the top knot trend around 1999 when I played high school basketball.  I was far from a fashion trend setter, I wore my long, curly hair tied up messily out of necessity... 

But I love that it's back!  And half top knots for short hair, Yes Please! :) 

Espresso Rewardo

Hubby forgot his laptop at home this morning, so after school drop off, I ran it over to his office.  It's only about 30 minutes round trip, but I rewarded myself for the extra effort with some Rocket Brothers.

Air Fryer Hot Wings

My hubby and I eat according to the Trim Healthy Mama lifestyle.  It's a carb conscious way of eating that alternates between meals with fats and meals with healthy carbs.   My MIL got me an air fryer for Christmas and it works SO, so well for hot wings.
